REPTILE RESCUE KZN is a reptile relocation service offered by two reptile enthusiasts, Dean and Lance. We have sixty years of experience between us and are passionate when it comes to saving reptiles no matter how big or small.
Dean covers Pietermaritzburg, Hilton and its surroundings (072 294 3158)
Lance covers Howick, Hilton and the Midlands (079 615 1816)
For the homeowner, please take note of the following while waiting for help:
Do not try to catch it yourself
Description of the snake is important
Always keep an eye on the snake
If the snake begins to move off, follow it but keep your distance so as not to disturb it
If the snake goes into a tree, down a hole etc and you lose sight of it, do not try and look for it yourself, rather wait for help to arrive
Although there are so many products on the market advertising effective snake repellents, THESE DO NOT WORK AND A WASTE OF MONEY In addition to our relocation service, we also do property inspections and offer advice to the homeowner on how to minimize human/ snake interactions.
A fee will be charged per callout and we are available 24/7
Need a snake identified? Take a photo of the snake without putting yourself in danger and send it to either one of us for identification.
All snakes captured are released unharmed back into the wild where they will be able to live the rest of their lives in safety.
